John Vanderzon, CTO

John Vanderzon has been with Sun Management since December 2005, joining his brother as partner.  John runs engineering services and product selection.  Prior to Sun Management, John Vanderzon was the Vertical Wireless Sales Rep- Commercial for Cisco Systems, as a result of Cisco having acquired AireSpace.  John was with Airespace from 2004 to 2005.  Prior to Airespace, John was the Account Manager DoD covering Pentagon, DoD Medical, Army, DISA and a several other DoD accounts for NetScreen.  While at NetScreen, John was awarded "Worldwide Sales Man of the Year"  in 2003, having sold $16M on a $6M quota.  Prior to NetScreen/Juniper, John was Account Manager for Alcatel/Xylan from 1995 to 2001.  John has a Masters in Engineering from Johns Hopkins, and an undergraduate degree in Engineering from Virginia Tech.

Jim Vanderzon, CEO

Jim Vanderzon founded Sun Management in 2003. Prior to Sun Management, Jim was an Account Manager at SMS from 2001 to 2003. Prior to SMS Jim was the DoD Medical Account Manager and managed other DoD and Civilian accounts at Alcatel/Xylan from 1994 to 2001. Jim was recognized each of his 8 years for reaching and exceeding his sales quota at Alcatel/Xylan. Jim has an undergraduate degree in Aerospace Engineering from Virginia Tech, 1984.
